Meet the Founder
My first computer was an Apple /// in Scotland. I was six. By ten, I was running ads in the local paper offering computer help to neighbors. As a teenager, I joined one of Reno's first internet service providers. Technology has been my world for as long as I can remember.
That early start led to 25+ years building technology systems across IT, marketing, graphic design, and business operations. I currently serve as Vice President of Marketing and Technology at Sierra Nevada Properties, where I've spent 22+ years overseeing all front and back-end systems, digital strategy, marketing automation, agent tech support, and the Sierra Academy technology education program.
I studied business administration at the University of Nevada, Reno and earned a degree in Health Informatics from Western Governors University. But most of what I know came from decades of building, breaking, and fixing things in the real world.
I started Cognito Solutions to bring that same hands-on expertise to businesses and individuals who need real technology help — not a call center or a ticket queue. When you call Cognito Solutions, you get me. I work directly with every client, and I treat your systems like my own.
